Infiniti Golf would like to congratulate our Master Clubfitter Mr. Mike O’Barsky of ESPEN Golf for qualifying for the 2008 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship.

Mike, age 56, height 5’9”, weight 140 lbs, advanced to the World Finals with the record of 370 yards in the LDA Qualifying event. This is Mike’s first ever attempt in long drive competition, and he is one of only 48 in the Super Senior Division to be competing in the finals.

Mike is using all Infiniti drivers with Infiniti SpeedFlex shafts. His arsenal of drivers includes xMOI 9 degree and xMOI LD 7 degree.

“You don’t have to be big to hit he ball far.” Mike said in an interview. “It is the Fitting, Techniques, and Equipment.” I have been a long time Infiniti professional clubfitter and staff member. I know how well Infiniti equipment performs. With this new driver and shaft combination, I can really get the distance and accuracy I need.” The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship will be held in Mesquite Nevada on October 20, 2008.
